We got back from Pittsburgh just in time to take the kids trick-or-treating.
Linnea chose to be a butterfly this year. I made her wings using these instructions. Jon helped me with cutting and crimping the wire, and my mother sewed the elastic straps. We didn’t get the best spray paint ever, so it didn’t go on as evenly as I would have liked. Linnea put the stickers on, and then I reinforced them with the hot glue gun.
Jonas decided to be a robot, but after we started buying the supplies to make his costume, he tried in vain to switch to a truck. Jon outdid himself making the costume, which has blinking LEDs. Of course, Jonas refused to wear his helmet, but I managed to convince to keep it on long enough for a few photos. I’m thinking that the robot costumes will continue to get more and more sophisticated, until we launch a robot uprising.
Here they are, having a blast!
